Another fine and rare item for Tarom and aviation route map collectors. Original Tarom Romanian Air Transport Route Map brochure from early '70s. Dated according to the year Tarom started regular scheduled flights to New York, U.S.A. although it first flew over the Atlantic in 1966. 1974 was also the date of Tarom's flight to Sydney Australia, through Calcutta but this route map does not have that route. There is the side view illustation of a Boeing B707, acquired in 1974 on the world map. The cover is in English but the maps are in Romanian. Very detailed domestic routemap, and route maps of Europe and surrounding countries and a route map of the long haul World routes.
Approximate size: 10.0 x 22.5 cm. folded, 45.0 x 66.0 cm spread out. This route map is basically in Romanian with English cover. In very good condition.
