SAS - SCANDINAVIAN AIRLINES - 1957 - NEAR & FAR EAST ROUTE MAP
Another rare vintage item for airline route maps and Scandinavian Airlines collectors. Fold out SAS route map showing the flights to the Near and Far East. It also has a table to jot down your itinerary during flight. Also includes, a schematic map of SAS World Tour route, over the North Pole. This map is slightly different than another SAS 1957 Route Map, where this one shows dotted line routes between Karachi & New Delhi, between Calcutta - Dacca-Chittagong and Madras. The other one I know does not show these lines.
Approximate size: 13.0 x 22.7 cm folded, 78.0 x 22.7 spread out. Covers are printed on thick cardboard. End panels are glued to the back of the covers. Printed in Sweden by Generalstabens Litografiska Anstalt, Estelte Ab, Stockholm, in 1957. In good condition with a scrape over Australa, and other minor faults.
