BAL BURSA AIRLINES - 1981 ERCAN NORTHERN CYPRUS - MEDINA SAUDI ARABIA FLIGHT PLAN ON DC-8 TC-JBZ - TURKISH
Nice and unique
A fine, super rare, unique item for aviation and airlines of Turkey and Bursa Airlines collectors. Original Bursa Airlines pilot Woodruff's flight plan for flight number FB 302, from Ercan International Airport (LCEN) of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to Jeddah airport (OEJN written wrong as OEJD) of Saudi Arabia. Alternate aerodome is Medina (OEMA) or Riyadh Air Base (OERY). FIRs Beirut (OLBA) and Amman (OJAM).
Bursa Airlines (BAL) started flying with two CASA 212-CB Aviocar (TC-AOC, TC-AOS) type planes in August 1977, between Istanbul and Bursa. In order to profit from the Turkish Airlines strike in 1980, the company leased three DC-8 airplanes (TC-JBV, TC-JBY, TC-JBZ) and increased its capacity and routes. But as things did not go as planned, the company was grounded on June 1981. This specific DC-8 TC-JBZ later flew for SĂ–NMEZ AIR, also formed by one of the founders of Bursa Airlines. That one is also defunct. Please check the flight plan from Istanbul to Ercan as well.
Approximate size: 21.6 x 29.5 cm. In very good condition. Do not miss it.
