A rarity for maritime timetable collectors. Turkish Maritime Lines 2000 Cruise Schedules and Tariffs on the cruiser vessel TDI Karadeniz (TDI Black Sea). This magazine sized booklet includes color pictures of the ship, its facilities, destinations, cruise dates, cabin layout and route maps, as well as the rates for each cabin type. TDI Karadeniz had a capacity of 180 passengers and was built in 1997 by Haliç Shipyards in Istanbul. Turkish Maritime Lines belonged to Turkish Maritime Bank Inc. Due to the ideological privatization craze, the bank and evey single ship of Turkish Maritime Lines is either scrapped or sold. Even Istanbul city lines are transfered to the municipality, then divided and sold again. I hope it will be back when wisdom prevails again. These items from this defunct company are very difficult to find and highly sought after.
