Istanbul Airlines is a defunct Turkish airline company.

A very rare item for aviation, airline tickets and Istanbul Airlines collectors. Istanbul Airlines domestic return ticket issued on 02.02.94 at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, for Istanbul - Izmir - Istanbul flights IL 133 & IL 134. The return fare was 1,500,000 TL. Carbon copy is difficult to read so save this information as well.
Founded in 1984, Istanbul airlines became the largest private airline in Turkey in 1999 with 19 aircraft and 3375 seats capacity. In 2000, economic crisis divindled its fleet to three, and its gross income to 350 Million DM. Istanbul Airlines stopped all its flights on August 30, 2000 and fired all its remaining personnel.

In very good condition, with paper punch holes and V.A.T. calculation on cover. In Turkish & English. Back cover shows an Istanbul Airlines B-737 during take-off. This airline was also one of the last European airliners that operated Sud-Aviation Caravelle Jets.
