Another rare item for aviation, airline tickets and Turkish Airlines collectors. 1956 was the year when Devlet Hava Yollari (Turkish State Airways) became an incorporated company and took the name of Türk Hava Yollari (Turkish Airlines). On contary to plain ones, the covers of this ticket have a geometrical base design and it is a much rarer example of one way ticket forms used by Turkish Airlines in early '60s. Issued on 14-7-1962 in Izmir for one way flight to Istanbul, on the same day. Cost: 170 TL. No information on printers. THY cachet on the front cover.
