Another rare item for aviation, airline tickets and Turkish Airlines collectors. 1956 was the year when Devlet Hava Yollari (Turkish State Airways) became an incorporated company and took the name of Türk Hava Yollari (Turkish Airlines). This is the second type of domestic lines excess baggage tickets used by Turkish Airlines in early '60s.
Printed by Zeki Basimevi. Form: 91/005 - 5/65. 40,000 copies printed. Not many used or survived. Ticket is dated according to printer's information.
Issued in 18-4-1968 in Istanbul for excees baggage of 75 kg. Cost per kg: 3.75 TL. Total: 281.25 TL. The passenger was flying from Istanbul to Diyarbakir with 95 kg baggage. THY cachet on passenger coupon.
