A fine and rare item for aviation, airline tickets and Turkish Airlines collectors. Return ticket form II, printed in Turkey by Nejat Basimevi in September, 1973. Reference: 91-002-9-973-100.000. Only 100 thousand copies were printed. Not many survived.
Issued by Tursen Travel Agency on 4.3.1974. Item dated according to the printer's date. The itinerary was Istanbul-Ankara-Istanbul. Return fare was 330 TL. Notes on the back of the ticket are for refund, due to a cancelled flight. A partially legible cachet is used on the back.
Approx. size: 19.1 x 8.8 cm. In very good condition, with paper punch holes. In Turkish and English. Listing many different varieties of early THY tickets. Please carefully check them out for differences like printer, printing date, size and design, as clearly indicated.
